What's Tricky This Coming Week ???

With produce travelling from all corners of the globe there is always something you should stay away from - especially during these troublsome times as growers are only just replanting certain bespoke crops.

This page is designed to ensure you don’t get caught out by listing something on your menu when supply is proving slightly tricky.

Fresh produce revolves around the climate so changes happen frequently, make sure you come back every week to find out what will be difficult during the coming week.

We Don't Have a Lot This Week But BEWARE!!!

  • Tenderstem
    Tenderstem Broccoli

With the current pandemic, tenderstem broccoli is in very short supply due to an outbreak at one of the key growers.

A good alternative would be purple sprouting broccoli or normal green head broccoli which is crisp and in amazing supply.

    Cauliflower

Cauliflowers are small in size at the minute due to the recent weather which have caused them to slow their growth.

cauliflowers are sporadic growers and a spell of rain, colder winds or heat can alter their speed in growth quickly. Supply is good but please be warned they are not MASSIVE.

We know its difficult to find a good alternative to cauliflower but some local crops such as kale, cabbage, cavelo nero are all in good supply.
