What's Tricky This Coming Week ???
With produce travelling from all corners of the globe there is always something you should stay away from - especially during these troublsome times as growers are only just replanting certain bespoke crops.
This page is designed to ensure you don’t get caught out by listing something on your menu when supply is proving slightly tricky.
Fresh produce revolves around the climate so changes happen frequently, make sure you come back every week to find out what will be difficult during the coming week.
Lemons
Prices are high and availability for fresh limes is becoming troublesome due to logistical restriction and the global pandemic hitting brazil with force.
Don't stockpile on fruit but please be warned the prices may rise in the future.Spinach
Problems with the weather has had subsequent detrimental effects on crops.
Much of the crops are not worth harvesting, with issues across various countries which has lead to shortages on spinach and rocket.Corker's Crisps
Corker's crisps are currently out of production for the moment due to a fire at the Corker's factory.
This wasn't a small fire it was a total devastation as the entire factory has burnt down.
The team are all safe but the crisps in those large buckets are unfortunately unavailable at the moment while the team rebuild - We have an alternative crisp in stock which we are sure you will like.
Cauliflowers
The price of cauliflowers has risen vastly due to the weather conditions affecting the crop, this in turn has affected the size. Hopefully we should see a change in this in the coming weeks.
Stone Fruit
The season for stone fruits has come to a close.
Its been a great season for these fruits!Broccoli
Similarly to the cauliflower, broccoli has suffered due to the recent weather making the price rise for the time being. Watch out, we should see this fall again soon.
