    Rainbow Chard

    Spanish crop of the beautiful rainbow chard s getting extremely difficult as volumes diminish as the Spanish season draws to a close.

    Years gone by the availability of rainbow chard was just throughout the summer months but this past year we have had a continuous supply up until now.

    The UK crop won't be far away so hold tight adding it into your creations just yet.

    Red Meat Radish

    This most colourful character has now disappeared for a few months.

    To be totally honest this year we have seen an elongated period of availability as it usually disappears by March.

    Red & Blue Radish will reappear late October - Keep your eyes peeled to the refresh for its reappearance.

    Sweet Potato

    WATCH OUT as prices for sweet potato will start to rise very soon as a word from across the water are stating that stored USA stocks are running dry which in turn is pushing prices up.

    There could be some danger of supply becoming extremely tight so please take note if you rely on this sweet orange fella.

    Grapefruit both colours **WATCH OUT**

    Grapefruit has rocketed in price so much so we have stopped buying it!!!

    The Spanish season has come to an abrupt end and the South African crop won't arrive for another 4 weeks!!!

    Why not try puree if you need that grapefruit flavour.

    Large and regular onions are starting to rocket in price due to a cross over in season between Chilian and Spanish seasons.

    Prices are going to ROCKET so please be careful and use your onions wisely.
