Romenesco
If you are using Romenesco on your menu at the moment please be careful as they are right at the back end of supply and things are becoming increasingly tight.

This blip in supply could last a few weeks so please be warned !!!
Shepherds Purse- Blue Cheese
The team at Shepherds Purse are having a disaster as there will be no Yorkshire Blue or Harrogate Blue cheese until the early part of 2019.

Maturing stocks are not ready and cheese is too young for release. Exceedingly high demand has cleared fridges out across the UK and now there is no stock of this most delightful cheeses.

We are carrying a stock of BlackSticks Blue for a substitute for Harrogate Blue and Garstang Blue for Yorkshire Blue until the cheese returns in 2019.
Large Onions
Prices are rising for XXL onions as the available stock starts to reduce.

We all like a super large onion but Watch Out this week as they will start to rise in price.

Trompette Mushrooms
Fresh Trompette mushrooms are extremely scarce at the moment and prices are going galactic.

If you need to use Trompette we would suggest buying dried or switch variety of mushroom into Winter Chanterelle.
Asparagus
DON'T USE IT - if you can help it that is as worldwide demand on air freight asparagus is massive at this time of year.

Prices are climbing every day and it's becoming very expensive, so much so it's making our brains hurt as we type this.
